This major update to the demo brings numerous features, improvements, and fixes.
Sound has been added, featuring hundreds of sounds that cover almost every event in the game world as well as ambient wind and animals. Sounds are highly varied and attenuate in volume based upon their distance to the camera.
Fortifications now include gates, allowing your units to pass your walls while keeping the enemy out. Gates can be controlled manually or automatically; only wooden fortifications are included in the demo.
Dangerous wild buffalo roam the land; hunting these beasts will provide a large amount of food, if you have the firepower to take them down. Additional types of dangerous animals will be added incrementally, featuring behavior inspired by their real counterparts.
The notification messages at the top of the screen have been improved. Clicking on a message will move the camera to the relevant location, if applicable. Also, most UI panel specific hotkeys have been implemented.
Far more bug fixes than can be listed are included. Testing and fixing issues is a priority to provide a smooth and stable game at full release. Balancing is an ongoing process; the difficulty and balance of every part of the game is constantly improving, and support will continue long after full release.
Almost all features listed on the store page that are not currently in the demo will only be available in the full game. The demo will continue to receive bug fixing and balance updates both before and after the release of the full version.
