Attention Test Subjects!
A MAJOR new update (v1.1.3 – The Policy Expansion Update) has been uploaded!
This is the second half of the content update for 2024: whereas the previous update was a rework of major systems, today's update expands the game content horizontally with new content:
- NEW HACKING LOCATIONS: Two brand-new hacking locations have been added to the game to complement the new Influence system introduced in the previous update. The ARMY BASE has several different variations (desert, snowy, forest) and is guaranteed to contain a General for Military Influence. Meanwhile, the CITY HALL is the Political equivalent, with a guaranteed Politician and plenty of government documents for you to steal.
- NEW POLICIES: A lot of new Policies have been added to the game, greatly expanding your options. Turn your facility into a Call Center to scam the humans? Start a Microbiology research lab? Install a shiny Golden Toilet? Train your Test Subject together with super intelligent Lab Mice? The choice is yours! All Policies have been expanded from 3-5 options each to 5-9 options each, allowing you to explore different approaches to each run.
- NEW DECOR ITEMS: Ten new Plush Toys have been added as new Decoration items, based on various creatures in my upcoming game "Kill a Million Rats". You can now decorate your base with these cute animals, lovingly hand-drawn by Nerdook (that's me)!
