2023 has kicked off and it’s already so busy!
I’m currently working on “boring” (but very essential) stuff right now, so I haven’t been as active on social media as I’d like to be. Settings, UI, saving/loading, fixing bugs, controller support, lots of playtests, etc! But hey, that means we’re getting closer and closer to getting that demo out!
I wanna show off something the whole team recently worked on!
You may have noticed some new key art on the Steam page, done by the wonderful Bing!
I love it a lot more than the previous art - plus, we’re hinting at a few more residents that you can ship! My favorite is the penguin, Wobbles! I’ve loved penguins my entire life, so I’m heavily biased 😛. (Happy Penguin Awareness Day by the way!!)
I created this cute opening sequence for our main menu:
You can watch the full version here with music!
There's an AMAZING theme that Sam wrote for it! It has that ghostie feel, but is still super cozy and AH I JUST LOVE IT!! (I play piano as a hobby, so I’m a HUGE sucker for piano in video game music 😂)
I really can’t wait for you all to try out the demo and see all the amazing work the team has done so far!
Sorry for the short update, but working on “boring” stuff isn’t really that exciting to show off 😂 - hope to share more soon!
