At long last, the free New Game DX content update is HERE! …And a PLUSHIE?
First up, the game is on SALE for 50% off for this week only as part of BULLETFEST!View game page
It's also even cheaper if you own Dead Estate! Contract Rush is a world of character and mystery, so it's fun to discuss with a friend. If you're already a fan, now would be a great time to let friends known about the game!
New Game DX:
This update adds the New Game DX mode, an enhanced New Game + mode that adds new challenges, collectables, drinks, and more.
The idea for this mode came about from the games two endings, Normal and True. If you finish the game in the easier-to-acquire Normal ending, you will now have a much enhanced second playthrough with additional content to tackle the True ending. Subsequent playthroughs should have even more variety now!
(To enter New Game DX, you must beat the game, then press the NG+ button on the left side of your file. If you have a legacy NG+ from before the update, you will have to press the “Force NGDX” button in the settings, then start your file in NGDX.)
Cynthia plushie:
And also at long last.. You can now order the official Cynthia plushie!
Take a look at the plushie, a partnership with CraftifyX!
Look at her! She’s real! All the way from a small newgrounds game in 2020, to the dang actual world. Who woulda thought?

If we hit 50 orders as well, all preorders automatically get these stickers added on for free too!
We need to reach 50 preorders for the plushie to enter production, and the time is LIMITED.
If you have a preorder in, we all win from it hitting the full 50, so share it with friends that might be interested!
(You will also be refunded if it does not hit the 50 preorder threshold.)
FINAL WORD:
The game is coming up on nearly a year since released, and it has been a wild journey since then. We are happy for all the enjoyment players have gotten out of it, and we look onward to the future, who knows what projects we have in store?
This isn’t it for Contract Rush DX either, as we have recently partnered with 2 Left Thumbs to pick up publishing, we still have a dedication to this particular game. Whether that entails ports, translations, or more free updates, we’ll just have to wait and see.
