After exactly 2 years since this game left early access, the Wedgie Simulator Mod Development Kit has finally been released!
It is now available at the Epic Games Store!
Playgrounds
Create new playgrounds to expand your sandbox experience! Build large towns to populate, sci-fi worlds, spaceship corridors, race tracks, islands, canyons, or even your own neighborhood.
Mannequin Templates
Not satisfied with the default preset of mannequin templates? Not a problem! Create your own templates for your mannequins! In case you want to create anthropomorphic characters, aliens from another world, or even your favorite cartoon characters from TV shows, video games, films, and other media.
Mannequin Expansion
In addition to being able to create new templates, you can of course also create new mannequin mods! This can be useful to accommodate for custom mannequin template usage, and/or to provide a new set of features for it's own respective P-Manné. The latter is useful if you want to create custom game modes beyond the usual sandbox (e.g. a first person shooter game, prop-hunt, or some kind of RPG).
Props
Create new props to decorate your own worlds and expand your gameplay experience. This can vary from simple placeable objects for your playground(s) or even create child classes for props for special interactivity for a custom game mode (should you wish to make one).
Vehicles
I know, the vehicle options right now suck! But now that won't be a problem for long! You can import and create new vehicles to expand the sandbox experience! New types of cars, trucks, cycles, turrets, and perhaps even aircraft (if you're feeling savvy enough)!
Other News
We are still working on the documentation for the mod tools as well as the remaining episodes for Underwear Shenanigans. It took us more than an uphill battle just to get our editor approved by Epic Games - in fact, we went through an entire not-so-great journey. But at last! It is finally here! The MDK has finally reached the customers.
Another problem is that the tools we require for both the tutorial videos and the animated online TV series have suffered set-backs; some of the services we relied on have either ceased to exist or has changed for the worst... Despite this, we're still working hard to eventually complete both the MDK documentation and the online TV series. We will get the former completed first as soon as possible whilst we just take our time to ensure the latter is completed properly.
