🎉 Heavyweight Updates for the Winter Solstice Version
【Core System Revamps】
Beast Ecosystem Launched: Three types of beasts—wolves, bears, and wild boars—appear with their lairs, each having complete behavioral logic (wandering, enemy detection, attacking, chasing, and disengaging). After defeating them, you can collect resource piles such as bones and hides.
Civilian System Optimization: A new detailed resume panel is added to view civilians’ backgrounds and data. Random hairstyles and facial features make the characters’ appearances more diverse.
Encyclopedia Reconstruction: Renamed to "Sheng Yu Wan Dian" (Encyclopedia of Prosperous Realm), it adds sections such as State Affairs, Exploration, and Military. Dynamic images, texts, and tutorial videos help you get started quickly.
Public Opinion System Adjustment: Public opinion status is displayed in real time, with values increasing or decreasing based on the degree of satisfaction with public opinion, making city-state governance more intuitive.
Collection Buildings: The adsorption point design is removed. Instead, collection buildings can work as long as their working range covers resource points. Meanwhile, the construction limit of collection buildings for a single resource point is lifted.
【New Buildings & Unlocked Features】
Survival Facilities Supplemented: A new "Golden Juice Cellar" (dry toilet) is added to produce fertilizer, and "Wells" are added to meet the drinking water needs of residents. Supporting animations restore real-life scenarios.
Construction Experience Upgrade: Batch planning for buildings like civilian tents is supported (up to 10 at a time). City walls can be replaced to build city gates, which can be opened and closed freely.
Quest and Collection Optimization:
A new quest chain blueprint system is added, supporting more complex quest triggers and completion condition judgments.
【Combat and Operation Optimization】
Enhanced Combat Feedback: The physical sensation enhancement system is implemented. Heavy attacks can trigger unit knockback, displacement, and getting-up-from-the-ground animations. The charge mechanism is adjusted to be more strategic.
Balance of Units and Equipment: Melee units in hold mode can fine-tune their positions; the range indicator for ranged units is more accurate; bed crossbows, catapults, and scaling ladders are optimized for easier use.
More Convenient Operations: New Q/E keys for camera rotation are added; construction adsorption prompts are upgraded; one-key shielding of highlighted outlines (the "=" key) facilitates screenshot taking; real-time connection prompts are provided when conscripting soldiers.
【Immersive Audio-Visual and Detailed Polish】
Dynamic Scene Upgrade: Birds fly across the sky; terrain textures are finely optimized; trees change naturally according to winter rhythms; Tyndall effect and real shadows are added.
Enhanced Weather Interaction: Dynamic effects such as snow melting and water accumulation on the ground are added; the global light reflection is optimized when it rains, ensuring more stable frame rates.
Comprehensive Audio Revamp: The attenuation of combat audio is adjusted; detailed sounds for building placement and soldier movement are added; exclusive sound effects are provided for interface interactions.
