Split-screen Co-op & Controller Customization Update

This update brings a more comfortable split-screen co-op experience, more control over your controller setup, and fixes throughout Lumencraft.

Split-screen Co-op

  • Choose Shared or Split when starting co-op and play the way you prefer.

  • We've improved the split-screen layout with smaller minimaps, menus that fit each player's view, and shared resources, objectives, and wave countdowns displayed between both players.

  • We've also fixed issues with lighting, missing objects and enemies, nearby sounds, mouse aiming, and building placement.

  • Player-specific menus and previews now appear on the correct side, and tutorial objectives correctly recognize both players' progress.

More Improvements

  • Custom Controller Bindings

Customize your controller bindings to suit your playstyle. We've improved the remapping interface and restored missing binding icons.

  • Inventory & Controls

Collected items now fill existing stacks before taking up empty slots. We've also fixed input issues involving secondary fire and the Steam overlay.

  • Farming & Saving

Fixed duplicate mushroom rewards, preserved automatic harvesting timers across saves, and adjusted mushroom yields. Map saving is more reliable, with clearer error messages when something goes wrong.

  • Guidance & Menus

Improved tutorial and Extract guidance, map visibility, option lists, campaign descriptions, and translations.

Thanks for playing and reporting issues, your feedback helped shape this update!
