Thanks for testing Vizzle 2.0
This build's headline change is that Vizzle can now be played entirely on a controller, entirely on a keyboard, or entirely on a mouse - each on its own, no mixing required. Most of what I need to know is whether that's actually true on your hardware.
What I'd most like tested
- Steam Deck. Does it launch straight into the game? Is the text readable? Can you finish a puzzle without reaching for the trackpad?
- Controller. Can you tell where the selection is at all times - in menus and on the board? Did any screen leave you stuck with nothing selected?
- Keyboard only. Unplug the mouse and try to get through a whole puzzle. Anything you couldn't reach?
- Mouse. It should feel exactly as it did in 1.05. If anything feels different, that's a bug.
- Video playback. It should start promptly and keep playing for the whole puzzle. Tell me about any long wait, stutter or freeze.
- Video quality. The puzzle image renders at 1920x1080 now, up from 512x512. It should look noticeably sharper than 1.05 - especially on a big screen.
- Your language. If you don't play in English, anything that reads wrong or runs off the edge of a button.

- Move the selector - stick / D-pad, arrow keys or WASD, or the mouse
- Pick up and drop - A, or Space / Enter
- Rotate a piece - X, or R
- Back - B, or Esc
- Restart the puzzle - Y, or Backspace
- Change level - LB / RB, or PageUp / PageDown
- How to play - Back/Create button, or F1
- Scores - Start/Options button, or Tab
Known already - no need to report
- A few on-screen prompts are English only in some languages
- The credits are English only
- No Steam Deck Verified badge yet - that comes after this playtest
How to report something
Post in the Bug Reports board on this hub. One thread per problem is easiest for me. Useful to include:
- What you were doing and what happened
- Your device - Deck, desktop, and which controller if any
- Your log file, which makes almost everything diagnosable:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Code Studio\Vizzle\Player.log
