Huddle up team!
We're going to bring you development updates to help keep everyone posted on the happenings here at Maximum Football! We hope you enjoy these under the hood looks at what we have going on in the locker room!
Today we go inside the mind of a running back! These are the variables the development team is thinking about when designing HB logic.
🚧 Work in Progress 🚧
“The ball carrier decides where to navigate based on a lot of factors: Where are the closest threats? Where are his blockers? Where is the end-zone? Where is the sideline? Where is the line of scrimmage and what direction is he currently going?”
“These factors are dynamic. They change every frame. In one frame a certain path may be open. Next, the path may close up as defenders get into range. The RB is analyzing different paths. Deciding which will get to the endzone fastest, while avoiding the most immediate threats”
