Hello gamers, growers and smokers!
Is Halloween celebrated in your country? If not - I hope news about our game will cheer you up!
Plot
We are working on the plot and already now we have a prototype of the story and the characters who will participate in it. We are trying to remember all the movies, TV shows and games that we have ever seen. In short - the story will take place in a small town, which is divided by several gangs. The main character, trying to survive and find out the truth about the death of his father, finds himself in the thick of things. The outcome of the gang war, the success of the FBI investigation and the fate of the legalization of marijuana in the city will depend on his actions.
Characters
For now our story has 2 endings and about 10 key characters. While we were thinking about the story, we decided that low poly characters were not very suitable for it. We love low poly very much, but it will be difficult for us to create the desired atmosphere with it. It was decided to make the characters more realistic. It might take a little more development time, but it's worth it.
One of the characters - an asshole for which the main character will have to work by order of the Russian mafia:
We also remade the characters from the screenshots on the steam:
Voice acting
As for the voice acting - we don't know if there's going to be voice acting :)
We do not exclude that it may appear in the future, but it is too early to talk about it. One of the options is voice acting using neural networks. We are watching this technology and, perhaps we will use it if we do not have the opportunity to get voice acting for the game in a classic way. Plus, there are tons of great story games without voice acting. For example - Disco Elysium.
Plant
We continue to work on plants. The plant lives and dies. Each plant is randomly generated. By changing the parameters, I can change the appearance of the plant. Many types of plants can be made this way.
Discord
Guys who have not yet joined our discord - join. Suggest ideas there, ask questions, and tell us what you think of the characters! The game is still far from complete, but already now I am feel that it will be fucking cool!
