In the last update I turned off the board designer because it was no longer running as it previously was.
Although the current plan is to have a new board designer, I took another look at the existing one and found a few of the reasons why it wasn't doing what it used to, and fixed them (I won't go as far as to say it now works). At this time, I haven't decided on whether or not to keep the old/existing designer for 2D boards, hence I haven't removed it - and why I was intending introducing the new editor in parallel. As the 3D nature of the new designer will probably make the process of defining boards less straight forward, keeping the 2D designer may eventually make sense. Note that the new designer may be based around the concept of "painting" cells onto a predefined board "shape" - the voxel designer being one way to generate such shapes. In this regard it may be less flexible in defining boards, in particular in expanding/contracting the scope of a 2D grid, which is something you can do in the existing board designer. Future mechanisms for creating "shapes" may address this. Note also that I haven't decided how to address the issue with the voxel designer, where by you can create cells that you can't see because they are obscured by other cells, although this is more of an issue for the wordsearch game (where you may not be able to find all the words) than the generation of boards.
