This update turns taming into a flute rhythm game, adds two new hosted mini-games, Kunai Tag and Prop Hunt, lets you gift Cash Shop items to friends, brings Round Robin tournaments, and translates much more of the game into 10 languages.
Behind the scenes, more work is going into the Tailed Beast Essence System and Item Instances.
Taming Rework
Taming is no longer a single roll. Using a taming item on a creature now starts a 10-second flute song. Press your Attack key (Z by default) in time with the notes to Blow into Flute, and hold it through the long notes.

Each note is graded Perfect, Good, Late or Miss. A perfect song keeps your full taming chance, while late notes, missed notes, extra presses and taking damage all lower it.
When the song ends, your final chance is shown and a die is rolled to reveal whether the taming succeeded.
You can still walk, jump and dash while you play, but you can't attack.
A failed taming now stuns the creature for 1 second.
New Mini-Games
Event hosts can now run two new mini-games. Join them like any other hosted event, and everyone who takes part earns Event Coupons.
Kunai Tag One ninja starts with the Kunai and has to throw it at someone else before the timer runs out, or it explodes and they're out. Every pass resets the timer, which gets longer as fewer ninja are left. The last ninja standing wins.
Prop Hunt Hiders are disguised as something from the map, such as a resource or an NPC, and get time to hide while the seekers can't see. Then the hunt begins. Seekers lose a bit of health with every swing, hit or miss, and get it all back when they find a hider. Seekers win by finding every hider, and hiders win by surviving until time runs out.
Trading, dropping items and storage are disabled while you're in a mini-game.
Cash Shop Gifting
You can now send a Cash Shop purchase to another player as a gift. At checkout, tick Send these items as a gift, type your friend's exact name, verify them, and confirm. The items arrive in their mailbox with your name on them.
You can send one gift purchase every 7 days, so put everything for that person in one checkout
Coupons and regional discounts don't apply to gifts, gifts can't be refunded, and one-time purchases can't be gifted
Round Robin Tournaments
Tournaments can now be held as Round Robin, where every team plays every other team once. Instead of a bracket, the spectator window shows a live Standings table along with each round's matches.

Placings go by most wins, then wins against the tied teams
Any number of teams can enter, and a team without a match that round gets a bye
Tournament coin flips are now really 50/50. Before, a tie was almost always given to the first team.
Cash Shop
Added New Cash Shop Items:
Leaf Battle Cloak
Mist Battle Cloak
Sand Battle Cloaks

Graphics & Interface
New Blurred Overlay option Find it under Options > Customize Graphics > Post Processing. It blends a soft, blurred copy of the scene over itself for a softer look, and has its own intensity slider. It's off by default.
Minimap now matches the world map The minimap is now drawn from the same image as the world map and updates when the map changes. Because of that, the old Minimap Quality and Minimap Smooth Filtering settings have been removed.
Loading screens stay smooth while a map is being prepared
Much more of the game can now be translated Around 40 windows are now translatable, including the Cash Shop, Trade, Inventory, Elections, Leaderboards, Uprising, dyes, Mastery Awakening and Settings. They come with first translations for Brazilian Portuguese, German, French, Spanish, Polish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).
