We have some huge news! Out and About is launching into Early Access on Steam on August 7th! 🎉
Thank you for being part of this incredible journey! We started with a dream to create a cozy, nature-loving adventure and now, after years of hard work (and your amazing support!), we’re almost ready to share it with you.
What does the game look like at Early Access?
🍄 Learn to identify 55+ real plants, fungi and seaweeds!
🍳 Cook over 90+ tasty recipes and sell them at the local market!
💖 Build friendships with the neighbours of Portobello, which includes 3 friendship levels and special quests!
🏠 Restore your childhood home and bring life back to the community! We'll have dozens of community projects for you to do!
Altogether we estimate the gameplay time to be 17-25h! 🥳
As you know, we wanted to create something more than "just" a game, a little love letter to nature, filled with real-world knowledge about foraging, cooking, and seasonal living. Every plant and fungus you find in-game is based on real species, with actual identification tips to help you learn as you play.
This Early Access launch is just the beginning. Your feedback is going to be essential as we add even more recipes, plants, and cozy adventures to Portobello.
