The Moment Has Come
It’s been quite some time since our last appearance in the public space, and we definitely have a lot to share with you!
During its development, **Absentis** has gone through many different stages of becoming a full-fledged game: from fundamental graphic changes to complete overhauls starting from scratch. The project is now in its final stage before release, eagerly awaiting its debut.
— **When?**
— We’re not going to announce an exact date yet, but we’re doing everything we can to make it happen as soon as possible.
Visual Style
We’ve decided to go with a low-poly art style because it best suits our needs, capabilities, and resources. Rest assured, this doesn’t make the game any less beautiful. This decision allows us to regularly enrich the world with new buildings and NPCs.
You can see more of the visuals on the game’s Steam page, where you’ll find a new teaser trailer, screenshots, and gif animations. We hope you’ll love it!
Core Mechanics
The game revolves entirely around sword combat: players will face endless battles with the undead while upgrading their shelter, which directly affects their character’s stats.
Every Time Feels Like the First!
For **Absentis**, we’ve developed a unique procedural generation system for game worlds, based on various mathematical algorithms: Perlin Noise, Delaunay Triangulation, Voronoi Diagrams, and others. Every playthrough will immerse you in a completely new location you’ve never seen before.
That’s all for now, but this is not a goodbye.
Add the game to your wishlist if you haven’t already!
See you soon! Very, very soon!
