Hey all. Today I'm excited to share a big patch.
A common frustration I have seen is that losing is often very sudden, with no time being given to recover and adjust. That is why loss of Primal will now cap at 500 in non-boss encounters. If you reach this point, a new animation will play and the enemy will be instantly slain. This gives an opportunity to learn and continue on, while still receiving some punishment.
Beta v0.3.0:
Primal Rework
Primal loss is now capped at 500 in non-boss combats, at which point it will trigger a victory.
In light of the new feature, starting Primal has been reduced from 2000 > 1500.
The primal orb now has an aura when you are protected, and a new skull face will change its mood.
Primal lost in combat is now shown on the rewards screen.
The tutorial has been adjusted to mention the new Primal mechanic.
General
There is now a max number of skills: 16 (not including Injuries). The new max is displayed when the skill tray is open.
The global damage increase in combat will now take place 15 seconds later, now at 30/40/50 seconds.
The minimum Time on a skill has been increased from 0.1s > 0.2s.

Damage from talents and trinkets now scale with Mind. Body already reduced this damage and their tooltips have been updated to no longer specify 'skill damage'.
Minor changes to the tasks required to upgrade some trinkets.

There's a new animation when trinkets upgrade to make it more noticeable.
The Beating Heart trinket has changed:
From: When your HP would be reduced to 0, become immune to damage for 3s/4s/5s. While immune, heal 10 HP when you are Hit and when you Hit enemies.
