Hello everybody! Thank you for all your support. It has been a little over a month since the release of Icewords, and I am pleased to announce a new game mode: Multiplayer! There are still some issues to work out, but for now, I am placing "versus mode" in open beta.
To opt-in, go to your game properties under the "Betas" category and switch from "None" to "open_beta". You can change this back to the stable version at any time. If you have any feedback or bugs to report, please do so in the Icewords community forums.
Versus mode allows you and up to five of your friends to compete against each other on three different sizes of stage. All players will need to have the beta version enabled.
Of course, if you prefer you can simply wait for all the bugs to be worked out and released to the main branch in a future update.
