Hello, i'd like to start by apologising for delaying Ergo for several months, while this was never the plan it was necessary. Now for the main points.
- Ergo is coming to steam on May 9th 2022
- It will be in early access as the game isn't complete
- The game contains Budget voice acting (This is out of my control as a solo dev)
- The game will retail for the following prices $6.99, £5.19, €5,69
What will the game contain in Early Access?
The game contains the following
- All 19 playable levels, All of these levels are not finalised and may be drastically changed following player feedback
- Save system, This saves the last played level.
- Level select, Levels can be replayed after the player has completed them
- Spectator camera, enabled by default, this can be disabled within the settings
- Hidden Trinkets, finding all the trinkets in the level will reward the player with extra rooms / content on the main menu (Not ready for EA, however stats will be saved so, no fear of having to find them all again!)
- Randomised visuals, Items like Monitors, Chairs, Desks, etc can appear with different models/textures every playthrough!
- Graphics settings, allowing for adjustments for the best visuals or performance
- Gameplay settings, want to move with your left hand, right hand or use your head, want smooth turn, want to turn fast or slow, all changeable here!
- Audio settings, game too loud, sound too annoying or voice acting to budget? lower or disable the audio entirely!
What's planned before leaving Early Access?
- Bug fixes
- Framerate improvements
- Level adjustments
- Level improvements
- Secrets
- Subtitles
- More areas to explore
- Rewards, related to the Trinket System
- Player feedback
- And much more!
I hope you're looking forward to Ergo's release; This has been a long time in the making and I'm hoping to continue development using your feedback / suggestions.
