From player feedback it was clear the movement system was not great. While I was unable to fix this, there is now the option to use teleport + snap turn locomotion. This is mainly an accessibility feature, but until the normal movement system is improved, please use it to play the game.
Controllers should now be correctly oriented automatically for Index, Quest 3, and Pico 4 users. These are the ones I tested, so some others might be correct too (expect Quest 2 to be equal to Quest 3). There is a Setting in the medical bay that allows the player to override the controller orientation for any controller that is not correctly positioned automatically.
Since the marketing is still a big issue, I wanted to update the trailer with a better visible player character. Resulting in the player now having a visible body. With arms and hands that should closely follow your real world arms/hands.
It might be improved in the future, but I think it is good enough for now.
The release date has also been pushed back again :-(. Really sorry about this, but as long as people are not playing the demo. It feels I need to focus more on marketing and working on the gameplay improvements takes a back seat (with the exception of useful feedback, which I always try to work on for the next version). With marketing work just getting added the timeline just shifts with this amount of work.
