First - to everyone who supported SUFFER 2, thank you. Seriously, it's been amazing that anyone played my games at all and I'm incredibly grateful to all of you.
I'm officially delisting SUFFER 2 from the Steam Store. This isn’t the end of the game though... Every level, the soundtrack, and every drop of chaos from SUFFER 2 is being fully ported into the original SUFFER as part of a massive, free transformation update patch.
That update is called:
ULTIMATE SUFFER
SUFFER 1 + SUFFER 2 + an all‑new chapter: FINAL SUFFER
This is the definitive version of the SUFFER series—one unified, expanded, and upgraded experience. A single brutal pilgrimage through all of SUFFER 1+2, plus a brand‑new final chapter built exclusively for this release (complete with a brand-new soundtrack recorded with an insane 9 string guitar!)
If you bought SUFFER 2: thank you.
Your support directly made Ultimate SUFFER possible. You helped push the series forward, and this update is my way of giving something bigger back to the entire community.
What happens next
SUFFER 2 will no longer be available for purchase on Steam.
Owners of SUFFER 2 keep the game in their library permanently.
The Ultimate SUFFER update for the original SUFFER will arrive as a free upgrade for all existing owners.
All SUFFER 2 content will live on inside Ultimate SUFFER—enhanced with the new version of the SUFFER engine, with a remastered soundtrack and upgraded graphics.
I have been working on ULTIMATE SUFFER for over a year now. It's a complete engine overhaul and artwork redesign. I'm very excited for it to release - I will put out some kind of official looking announcement statement thing but I wanted to let everyone who bought SUFFER 2 to know first. I was going through a hard time in life when I created the first two SUFFER games. Seeing these games through to completion, publishing them onto Steam, and having people actually play them really helped lift me out of a dark place. Thank you so much. You'll always have my gratitude. God bless you all :)
