A new Stickforge update is available (celebrating the 10-year anniversary of BattleStick 1).
10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY CONTENT UPDATE
- New anniversary skins will unlock on June 6th: Rock, Mooman, Tarzan, Mermaid.
- Mobile controls added: Stickforge is now playable on mobile (desktop still recommended, don't expect becoming a pro on mobile).
- Increased maximum and minimum zoom range to better view skin details and use long-range weapons more effectively.
- Only the Forest Edge map will be enabled for the next few weeks to facilitate newcomers (see note below).
SYSTEM / QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGES
- Matchmaking and joining times improved.
- Loading time improved (assets are now optimized and bundled for the current game mode only — 25MB download instead of 64MB).
- Nicknames now follow simple validation rules (3–16 characters) and offensive names are blocked.
- Chat filter improved to avoid censoring normal words incorrectly.
BUG FIXES
- Fixed camera lock issue preventing the camera from correctly locking onto a character. (Thanks @furor2984)
- Friends window no longer interferes with chat typing.
- Match timer now displays correct countdown values during the final seconds. (Thanks @xaxoe44)
- Whisper system fixed: private messages now work correctly through chat and friends list.
