Yes, you read it correctly: after listening to some feedback from players and weighing the pros and cons of replacing now all the art of Deep in the Forest, I've decided to hire another artist, with a more classical otome style.
The new artist's name is Pano, and you can check out her work here: https://twitter.com/panononi
I hope you all like her art style! I think it's pretty and quite unique, and Deep in the Forest's characters will look amazing! Of course, that means there will be a small delay, but I think the wait will be worth it if that means we'll have a better game.
What do you think? Happy with the change, or not? Please, let me know! We'll probably run a Kickstarter campaign once my current game, Night and Day, is released, to allow Pano to focus full-time on making the art for Deep in the Forest. We'll keep you updated about the new characters' designs and the KS campaign!
