Engine Update
Fixed an issue where searching commands in the editor could cause errors or freezes.
Fixed a bug where clicking would display all text when multiple "Wait for Player Input" commands existed in "Show Dialog".
Fixed a bug where blank spaces appeared in "Show Dialog" when text had material effects, non-zero character spacing, and text effects (e.g., 10-frame pause).
Optimized the issue where short text in "Show Dialog" was easily skipped by clicking (determined by the delayed appearance time of the skip indicator; manual skip allowed only when the indicator appears ).
API Changes:
Added dialogTextSkipEnabled to GameDialog – allows user to skip text (when fully displayed) Default=true
Added 2 parameters to GameDialog::showall:
-- @param waitPlayerClickEnabled[optional] Default=true If "Wait for Player Input" exists, only display up to the next "Wait for Player Input"
-- @param checkDialogTextShowAllEnabled[optional] Default=true Checks dialogTextShowAllEnabled; disabled if showAll is forbidden
Added 1 parameter to GameDialog::skip:
-- @param force[optional] Default=false Can skip even when dialogTextSkipEnabled=false
Notes:
The correct behavior of "Show Dialog" after this update requires the latest template: AVG - Eyes of Star.
Some third-party dialogue plugins may conflict with these updates. If behavior is incorrect, please resolve conflicts at your discretion.
If fast-forward is slower in old projects after updating the editor, adjust the "Delayed Appearance" time of the skip indicator.
If you do not need these changes or they break your project, use the previous editor version (v0.993).
