Welcome to the Horizon 10-Year Anniversary as we celebrate this past decade of fast cars, iconic music, and incredible road-trips all at the world’s greatest automotive festival. Whether you first joined us in Colorado, Southern Europe, Australia, Britain, or Mexico, we’re excited to have you onboard to mark this moment together!
Mexico is also joining in the festivities as Forza Horizon 5’s map is redecorated for the Horizon 10-Year Anniversary. Look out for classic flags, gantries, displays and towers in races that recreate the vibes and essence of our past Horizon Festivals.
Before we dive any further, here’s a look at the overall Series Rewards:
80 PTS: 2013 Wuling Sunshine S
160 PTS: 1962 Peel P50
Our Monthly Rivals features the 2013 Dodge Viper SRT GTS Anniversary Edition on the Lookout Circuit. Meanwhile in Forza EV, test drive the 2018 Jaguar I-Pace on the Arch of Mulegé and set your fastest lap time!
Are you ready to party like it’s 2012? The first week of this Playlist, available through Thursday, October 20, features two unmissable reward cars – including the one driven by Darius Flynt, Forza Horizon’s notorious antagonist:
20 PTS: 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Formula-S
40 PTS: Backstage Pass
Each week, a new Festival site will be temporarily setup in Mexico in celebration of the past games. Week 1 celebrates Forza Horizon’s Colorado in the Copper Canyon – smash 10 Horizon Colorado Bonus Boards while there to unlock the 2013 Dodge SRT Viper GTS. Capture it to complete this week’s Photo Challenge rewarding the Colorado Cover Car horn. Don’t step out just yet because you’ll also need Forza Horizon’s cover car in the Weekly Forzathon.
It’s a Stock Showdown in The Trial. Prove your mastery of the 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 to win the 2012 Hennessey Venom GT.
Two new unmissable EventLab creations await! Take on The Backroads from Veixity, a Street Race through a shipping port depot filled with trash, industrial work, a gas station, and narrow straights to win the Take Off emote. Meanwhile, GT Deny presents Coastal Town Circuit Pro. Race around two color-filled laps featuring coastal hotels and bars. Utilize those straights to their fullest potential and make your move to unlock the Star 27 Sundress.
A trio of Super Wheelspins await in this week’s Seasonal PR Stunts! Prove your love of Forza Horizon’s Speed Traps by setting new records at Horizon Baja, East Resort and Pantano Pass. Head over to Hot Wheels Park and break the Forest Edge record for another Super Wheelspin.
Emerge first place in this week’s Seasonal Championships to expand your driving adventures with the 1995 Volkswagen Corrado VR6, the 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 and the first of our weekly music rewards for Horizon Mixtape, “Language” by Porter Robinson – the start screen song as seen in Forza Horizon. Take on the Dragons at Hot Wheels Park and the 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon will be yours.
Lastly, over in the Forzathon Shop you will find the 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C and 2019 Hennessey VelociRaptor 6x6, as well as the Quick Draw emote, the Horizon Colorado Tee and the Legacy Rewind car horn. You have one week to get them, so don’t miss out!
That’s your roundup of all things happening at Horizon Mexico during this one-week celebration of Forza Horizon’s Colorado. Next week, it’s all about Southern Europe and Forza Horizon 2. Until then, we’ll see you at the festival.
