Hey, how's life going? Today I'm bringing you a brand new update to Side Effect. It's about challenges! There are 3 challenges so far which you can try to beat:
- Long Shot is about scoring garbage to recycler's yellow ring from the greatest distance possible.
- Fast Collector is about collecting as much garbage as you can in 2 minutes.
- Floor is Lava is about escaping lava and the shortest time wins.
Each challenge record score is synchronized with the database which means as soon as you achieve a new record, everyone will instantly know!
Apart from this huge feature here are other things included in this 0.3.2 update:
- Added three challenges which check for internet connection and sync with database
- Patreon support message has been added at the end of credits screen
- "Support & get rewarded" button added to the main menu
- Main menu cleaned up from unnecessary buttons
- Falling down the cliff now correctly resets current scene again
- Recycler under the hood code optimizations
- Renamed "Options" to "Settings"
Personally my favourite challenge is the Long Shot where I scored 83.37 metres so far. Give them a shot and tell me your favourite. Here's video of my personal record:
