World Generation Room & Simulation Cartridges
Simulation Cartridges: Create world cartridges configured with unique seeds and displacement in the World Generation Terminal.
Save/Load System: Save your world state to available slots. Access loads and backups via the World Generation Room menu or the Master Menu while in-world.
Automated Backups: The system now automatically saves your state every few minutes or during relevant events (Death, location visits, achievements, base building, or crafting).
Cartridge Management: Copy: Duplicate a full simulation, including all saves and backups, to a new cartridge. Recreate: Transfer only the world generation fields/parameters to a new cartridge. Move: Transfer a simulation to a blank cartridge (useful for changing the physical appearance of the cartridge itself).
World Instances
Instance Segregation: Specific buildings and underground locations now operate as separate instances. This unloads the exterior world for players inside, boosting performance.
Multiplayer & Proxy Ready: Multiple players can keep separate locations loaded independently. This also applies to Proxies (drones, etc.), which can now load and maintain areas just like players.
Spatial Hashing: Improved object culling for handled objects using spatial hashing across all Players and Proxies.
Physics Safeguard: Added a preventative "teleport-to-safety" system. If a Rigidbody falls through the terrain, the system identifies the highest point in the active instance and teleports the object there based on its bounding box.
Combat & Training Improvements
Training Interface: Added a new interface (including a one-handed version) providing visual and audible cues for grenade detonation timing.
Grenade Visuals: Improved resolution, contrast, and color for grenade lever tags and timers.
New Fuzes: Added an Instant Fuze (0.1s). The previous 0.3s fuze has been renamed to Trapped Fuze.
Bug Fixes & Adjustments
UI: Fixed an issue where the Hand Pointer would stop working when colliding with non-UI trigger volumes; raycasts now correctly ignore these colliders.
Training Scene: -- Removed a ghost elevator that occasionally appeared at the end of the scene. -- Fixed the Scene Selection UI display issues. -- Doors now remain open once triggered to prevent confusion regarding proximity mechanics.
