All good things must come to an end, so does Steam Next Fest and 8874 Demo.
We looked through the feedback and thanks to you guys we know what to improve/change:
- Double jump - the most disliked mechanic is going back to the sketch board. We thought of making the height and the length of the jump dependent on the momentum, or the length of the jump key press.
- Wiktor's Home- we'll think about cutting the animation time after death, additionally, some things will be added there, to diversify the experience. At home, you'll be able to see various items collected during your adventure too.
- Running - we'll think about lowering character speed a bit and adding a dedicated run button (will help to solve the double jump problem)
- Jumping sound - the distracting sound will be changed
Of course, we'll be adding a lot of new content before release, as well as doing loads of bug fixing.
Right now it's time to get back to work,
till the next time...
