Hey everyone!

As promised in our last post, we're back with the Weapons Update! This includes a reworked weapons system based on our community's feedback that the Weapon Evolution system was not working well. You guys told us loud and clear that you preferred being able to select your preferred weapon at the start of the run again, so we listened and brough it back.

During the run, each starting weapon will be upgradable twice. These upgrades won't change the mechanics of the gun anymore, and instead only focus on improving that weapons core stats. So instead of worrying about weapon changes, this update will put the focus back on Powers and finding those perfect combinations that make each build and each run special.

We've also added the first iteration of the Weapon Blueprint system. Before unlocking new weapons in the Hub, you'll now need to gather the weapon's blueprint, which is dropped from enemies in different levels. This way, we want to avoid the feeling of rushing through all the weapon unlocks, and not having the time to get used and try each new weapon.

Here's what's new in this update:

• Removed the Weapon Evolution system (based on your feedback!)
• Added a Weapon Upgrader in Glitchspace
• Added back 12 starter weapons (many more coming with release)
• Each weapon now has 2 upgrade levels
• Gather Blueprints during runs to unlock them in the Workshop

As some players requested, we've also added a dynamic camera zoom during intense combat, so you won't be hit (as often) from offscreen anymore! Thanks skippydog

We want to thank you all again for the constructive feedback that led to these changes. Your input is what helps make Galactic Glitch better with each update. As always, if you encounter any issues or have thoughts about these changes, please let us know on the forums or our Discord.

Enjoy the improved weapon system, and keep glitching!
