It was recently reported to me that build pieces could occasionally be duplicated when placed. I investigated the issue and found that this bug had likely been introduced quite some time ago and had gone unnoticed for several updates.
I was able to identify the cause and have now fixed the issue.
Note: Build pieces (e.g. walls, floors, or doors) that were placed before this update and were duplicated because of this bug will remain duplicated in your save game/world. Any build pieces placed from this update onward will now be created correctly and will no longer be duplicated.
If you already have duplicated build pieces in your world, you can simply remove the extra copies using the hammer.
