Hello everyone! While the game update is being prepared, we would like to talk in more detail about the opponents you can meet in our game! And today we'll talk about Dergers.
Dergers are cursed dwarves.
They are usually armed with an axe or hammer. Derger differs from other enemies in that he is a sentient, not a savage creature, but at the same time the dwarf fights very fiercely. However, Derger does not forget to constantly put a block, thereby avoiding our blows (it's not for nothing that they still have a soul and a mind).
Derger has a strong instinct for self-preservation, and the dwarf is not averse to resorting to advanced combat tactics. When he sees the enemy, he can not just attack him immediately, but stand still, forcing the enemy to take the first step. During the fight, Derger also resorts to cunning. He likes to bounce back, and when the enemy relaxes and starts an offensive, he immediately makes a sharp jump forward with a simultaneous strike.

If the Derger has low HP and the situation allows, he will take the opportunity and drink the stored healing potion. Moreover, experienced warriors carry with them up to three potions at once. Therefore, Dergers are always ready for protracted battles. In a fight with them, you need to be as collected as possible and keep a short distance, constantly parrying his blows from different stances. At the beginning of the battle, each subsequent strike must be performed in a different stance. Dergers are quick to learn from their mistakes and analyze the course of the battle. If you dealt them damage with a blow from above, then the next attack from the same stance with a high degree of probability will be blocked. It is especially important to use various series of attacks and finishing moves against them in order to quickly get rid of these dangerous warriors. Tactics of single lunges and dodges without losing stamina can also help. The main thing is not to break the distance with them.
Dergers are very resourceful and have created mechanical Golems as assistants to help them explore dungeons. So don't expect a cursed dwarf to attack a mechanical golem and vice versa. Rather, they will try to unite against you. In no case should you mindlessly wave your weapon during a battle with Dergers. The dwarves will be happy to wait for the moment and counterattack you. You need to approach the battle in cold blood, not forgetting about the consumption of stamina and the blocks put on time.
Good luck in battle!
