Thank you for playing our first early access release and giving us your feedback! You are really accelerating our ability to rapidly improve Million on Mars. We are humbled and in this for the long-haul!
Our first update since the EA1.0 release holds a lot of backend fixes and client fixes for our player-facing issues, as well as some more building effects provided by our modeller and artist. Although this is a Monday On Mars and it’s Friday, sometimes Fridays feel like Mondays.
Features Added:
- Keep the time at day until the player creates 10 units of methane
- More building effects added to the Greenhouse, 3D building fabricator, Storage module, and the Sabatier reactor
Bugs Fixed:
- Fixed an issue where a first time player would be unable to purchase items from the resupply rocket menu until they relogged
- Under specific circumstances moving from one plot to another could cause a crash, this has been fixed.
- Name confusion should be improved: Instead of “Chem Lab”, it should say “Iana ChemWorks I” consistently. If you notice any where names are wrong, let us know!
- Crafting a WaterWorks I Building crafting didn’t show the WaterWorks I Kit requirement
- Make Combo CNC-3D Printer and Welder Tool now purchasable through the Resupply Rocket
- Adjusted the distance before an object considers it to have arrived at the destination
- 5m -> 15m
- Removed the call to send the player home when the camera is created, it is unnecessary.
- Using the /UpdateCameraHome command to update your camera’s ‘home’ position now works again.
- Send the player home on log in.
- Check if its a new player before changing the player home plot ID to the plot ID
- Allow objects to power off in more circumstances: If there are any times when it seems like the power button for an object isn’t working, let us know!
- Fixed: It should now clear InventoryFull when removing items from inventory more reliably.
- Objects that shouldn’t show up in the Resupply Rocket Marketplace are now hidden again
- Icons restored for ChemWorks II and ChemWorks III
- Restored the icon for the Nuclear Waste
- Regolith mining overflow should no longer occur and cancelling mining should be more consistent
Cheers,
-Erik
