Following the Poor performance of the last update, we have now reworked a lot of the code to create a far more stable experience. Following testing we believe we have removed the majority of errors that led to game breaking crashes. As a result of these changes, we do recommend a clean installation.
Please be aware that the game is still in early access and we do not expect to have solved every issue. We ask that you continue to make us aware of any bugs or crashes you encounter.
Please accept our apologies for the delays in fixes and we hope that you continue to enjoy Mediterranean Assault: 1943.
Rebuilt squad control system
- The squad control system has been completely rebuilt as this was identified as one of the main reasons for crashes that we found in testing.
- The Player will now start with two squads under their control, upon their death or the death of the player, squads and individual soldiers will respawn at the players main objective.

- The user interface and controls for squad command will remain the same.
Balanced Battles
- Battles now have slightly less soldiers at anyone point with AI commanders attempting to spread their teams for a better chance of success.
- The number of allied teams spawned to help the player has been reduced to provide more of a challenge and a more stable performance.
Improved Weapons
- Weapons will be more responsive during recoil, this is correcting an issue where the aiming cursor would misrepresent where the weapon was aiming during recoil.
- Aiming down the sight now provides a more focused view of the enemy.
- Weapon stats have been balanced.
Game Options
- Game Options have been re-added.
- This will allow players to adjust their turning and aiming speeds, view controls and remove markers and Icons they do not want.
