We're handling bug reports and inquiries in the order they come.
We're expanding our FAQ, but we'll also answer particularly common inquiries here to help clarify things quickly.
"Is there a dark mode?"
- Dark mode is currently under development. There is already an option to darken your background color, so feel free to change it in your settings.
"How do I change the program's language to English?"
- You can do so via the Settings. We also added a fix in 1.0.1 that set VRoid Studio's language to English if your OS language was in English. If it doesn't change, please do so manually.
"Can I export the Guidelines on item textures to edit in other image editing software?"
- You can! Right-clicking each item's layer (on Windows) or Cmd + Clicking (on Mac) will open a menu. Select Export Guide, determine your save location, and it's as easy as that.
"Can I still download the Beta version of VRoid Studio?"
- You can get the beta versions here!

"I get an error when converting my model data, and I can't open it."
- You can only convert data from beta version 0.14.0. Models made on earlier versions will first need to be opened and saved in 0.14.0 before you can convert them for use in the stable release.
"Why is my model's skin is disappearing under their tops/dresses?"
- Skin masks erase a portion of your model's skin. Open the Skin Mask tab in the Texture Editor and make the parts you want visible white in the UV Editing Mode. For more info:

"Can I change clothing and accessory parameters while in the Texture Editor?"
- You can. Select the slider mark in the left-hand panel next to the name of the item you want to adjust, and the parameters will display on the right-hand panel.
"When I select hair presets on a model that's been converted, the old hair disappears."
- The converted hair doesn't disappear; selecting new hair preset simply changes what's displayed. You can restore and save the converted hair via the Custom tab in Overall Hair.
