Hello dealers,
it's been a long time. The last update was in february.
Due to health issues I was not able to work much, so that's why I have delayed the update so much.
But it's all good. Thank you all for your patience.
First off, the new money laundering dlc is not complete. There is currently 1 business to purchase out of 6.
This one will be free for everyone, so everyone can experience the money laundering feature, that wie tie heavily into future updates and progression. The dlc itself will give you the option to purchase the other 5 businesses wich I am currently working on and planning to release soon.
I wanted to get this update out for a few reasons. First, it's been a long time since the last update. Second, the update has many more improvements, not just the dlc stuff. Third, before working on other businesses I want to see if the current one needs adjustments, improvements, balance changes and so on.
You can hold off with buying the dlc till I add all the other stuff. It's up to you.
You get of course in-game goodies and stuff right away when you buy it. Same as the other dlc.
New stuff:
1. Money laundering DLC
You can now purchase "Stacey's Nail Salon" in the new money laundering tab. Art and everything is not final.
Stacey will start working for you right away, cleaning your dirty money for a heavy cut. You can also hire 4 more employees to work in her nail saloon.
They will slowly gather dirty money, if you have any, and clean it. Once enough collected they give it to the manager, then she gives it to you. All of them also generate passive clean money, but not much.
While they work, they will generate progress towards the 2 new crates. The impossible crate and the possible crate with 6 new items total.
All people are AI generated, so not real people.
2. Items
6 new items. Now there is complete balance to the drugs. Before that, dope and meth was the most profitable, since you can get a few items that made it that way. Now, the new items will balance all the drug prices, making all drugs equally profitable.
You can view your item collection in the new item room, with a dude that will tell you all you need to know about them, once you get them.
3. New tutorial
A brand new tutorial for new players hosted by Tommy. He might give you a hard time since he's a wise guy but, whadda ya gotta do, forget about it.
4. New gambling room.
A reworked gambling room. Now with the ability to buy and sell crates for crate credits. Featuring sam, who gives you quotes from the movies he's been in.
You can buy credits for gold as well, but gold will come later with the dynamic stock market.
5. Backup saving
There is now a button to create a backupsave. The game still saves automatically. This is just so... if your savegame gets corrupted, you can still recover your progress. The whole system was... problematic, very problematic. Hopefully all is fixed now.
6. Various other stuff
In the options menu there is a road map, so you can see what I will be working on next. I plan to update all rooms and give them a rework, similar to the item room and tutorial.
Cleaned up the main page a bit.
A bunch of fixes and balance. I should have kept track of everything.
Again, thank you all for your patience and I hope that you enjoy the new stuff. As always, I welcome suggestions and criticism.
More updates are coming soon. Still a lot to be done.
Peace out
Lord
