Dear future authors,
I am hard at work with updates to Qyllscape, and I have received such an encouraging response across platforms from people that are excited to try it out. The truth is that I made a mistake understanding release timelines, and thought I could play to the buzzer, and still get Qyllscape out on October 20th. Unfortunately, it looks like Qyllscape will not be released in October, and it is my fault.
My absolute priority is to make sure that when Qyllscape is available, it is 100% ready to support you on your writing journey. I apologize for the delay, but I think it will be worth it in the long run.
The good news is that development has been going amazingly well (albeit slowly), and some features I wasn't sure could be added are already in!
Candlelight
By far I think people are most excited by the concepts I introduced in the candlelight feature. Since I released the original trailer, I have overhauled the lighting system to add even more variability, with multiple lights that can be customized individually.

Exporting
Qyllscape is not going to be industry-leading in every possible writing feature (for example exporting your work) but it is important to have basic functionality available so that people aren't forced to copy/paste their work into another software just to print it.
Now, Qyllscape has a customizable export tool that will allow basic customization before generating an HTML file, a standardized format you'll be able to open in any browser to capture the full text, or customize into PDF format for printing.
Conclusion
I had intended for Qyllscape to be available this week, and unfortunately that won't happen. I honestly didn't expect the quick interest it would generate, and I think that interest encouraged me to put more effort into what Qyllscape can be.
I hope your writing is going well, and I look forward to delivering a satisfying and complete editor for you to try out soon. I appreciate the support!
Best Regards,
Eric Davidson
