Hello future Qyllscapers,
I'll try to keep this update brief. The short of it is, development is running smoothly, and I am finally working on some of the polishing things I've been putting off.
Keep in mind, most features are configurable, and optional, so these things can be enabled/disabled. Here's a quick list of what I've improved/added recently...
- Page numbers automatically update to reflect current text in project
- Improved mechanical keyboard sounds (random pitch, vintage variation) [Really happy here]
- Added test for fountain pen sounds (Needs a little tuning, but going well)
- Error correction within file system when detecting a corrupt project
- Variety of backup options (full project, condensed project, html improvements)
- Lighting controls are added to saved theme settings, and backed up to cloud
- Massively improved UI for different screen sizes, now text renders properly at higher resolutions instead of just "zooming" in
- Included short list of default color themes
- General usability updates to prevent corrupting project
- Successful testing of build between Windows/MacOS
- ...more that I can't remember!
The point of this post is to say that I have been working on stabilizing the application and adding in polish. That process will continue after release as I work to make this as reliable of a tool as I can.
The plan is to release Qyllscape as soon as possible at this point. The hardest part is me deciding to hit the button. I am planning to take more vacation time soon from my full-time job in order to make that final push, and I want to thank everyone again for the continued support.

Best Regards,
Eric Davidson
