Hi everyone!
The Dark Method’s final major content update is now live!
The original final chapter has been expanded, followed by six entirely new chapters that bring the single-player story campaign to its conclusion. The campaign now contains 18 chapters in total, with this update adding roughly 50% more content to the game.
The Dark Castle has loomed over the journey from the beginning, and now players can finally reach it and enter its halls. Bringing this long-awaited destination to life so you can discover the secret it holds was one of my biggest motivations for creating these final chapters.
This major update includes:
• Seven new and expanded chapters
• Three new boss battles
• New monsters with their own strengths, weaknesses, and mechanics
• New environments, puzzles, and combat encounters
• Numerous fixes and improvements throughout the game
With this update, The Dark Method’s planned story content is complete. The game will remain in Early Access for a short final testing period while I monitor player feedback, fix any remaining bugs, and add further polish before the full release.
The Dark Method has been in development since 2016, and reaching this point means a great deal to me. Thank you to everyone who has played, streamed, shared feedback, or supported the game over the years.
I hope you enjoy the final chapters as much as I enjoyed making them!
