We heard you: you want to see some gameplay. So we’re expanding our upcoming Behind the Scenes video into a mini Angelic devlog.
Originally, the video was going to focus primarily on the production of our Song of the Infestation teaser. But after reading your comments and feedback, we realized there is something much more interesting we can share with you.
We’ll briefly introduce what we've been working on over the last two years and how Angelic evolved. That means teasing some of the features we've been developing.
The complete gameplay reveal still needs more time and polish, but we can absolutely show you some things before then.
In the meantime, we also wanted to properly introduce two characters you may already have noticed in the teaser.
Meet Lemonade 🍋
Lemonade’s origins are as unusual as the world around her.
After Heaven's original Archangel disappeared, Zero, the guardian and the Hiver of the colony, spent 52 years creating Lemonade. She began as a proto-Archangel but grew into something far more independent than her creator ever intended. Known by many names, including the Green Witch and Gifter of Citruses, she became one of Heaven's most influential figures. She nurtured the colony and helped transform parts of its environment, all while developing her own increasingly radical ideas about humanity, angels, and evolution.
Some of her choices would eventually help reshape the fate of the entire colony.
Meet Bart 🤖
Bart is a Vivibot with impressive clumsiness, surprising philosophical bursts, and an unwavering belief that he is destined to become human.
He joins Aurora for a good part of her journey, gradually becoming her unlikely sidekick.
Sometimes he saves the day. Sometimes he creates the problem that needs saving.
You already caught glimpses of both Lemonade and Bart in Song of the Infestation.
Soon, we’ll show you a little more of the world they inhabit.
