Run, don’t walk to update your game on Steam. But be careful not to slip on the ice, because…
WINTER IS COMING HAS OFFICIALLY ARRIVED IN LITTLE LONDON!
The cool (pun fully intended) features we’ve been working on for a while are finally here, alongside a bunch of new additions. Jacques has added more warm outfits to his fashion catalogue, and you’ll find new holiday-themed items at the Solstice Fair during the last week of winter.
And since we all want to stay cosy even on the coldest days, you’ll also find several new additions around the city to make weather changes more manageable! From umbrellas to weather machines, no more getting stuck inside on rainy or snowy days.
But if you’re the kind who prefers to stay in anyway… you can now enjoy your very own at-home museum! Ryan is now selling display items that allow you to showcase your favourite collectables at home. Way more dignified than just throwing them on the ground, right??
And since the holiday season tends to make people kinder and more open… you’ll notice that the residents of Little London are now willing to have a chat with you! You can strike up a conversation with those standing around, though passers-by might still be too busy to stop and give you their attention.
And last, but most important…
YOU CAN NOW BECOME CLOSER TO SIMON AND SAMIR!!
Both have been added to the friendship system alongside Kai and Zoe, and more are coming soon! This is our first step towards improving relationships in the game, something our wholesome community has been asking from us for quite a while.
Once again, friends, we want to thank you all for your patience, understanding and feedback.
Let’s keep improving Little Sim World together!
And now…
ON TO THE PATCH NOTES!
Patch Notes 🗒️ Little Sim World v0.55.0 (Winter Update)
⚠️ Please be aware that some localisation entries are missing in Chinese, Portuguese, and Russian. We’re working to get these sorted asap, and really appreciate your patience and understanding! 🥺
🤝 Friendship for Simon and Samir, improved Relationship app, and clear indicators!
The friendship system is growing, and while the deeper relationship features are still cooking in the background, the fan-favourite residents are ready for some quality time with you... Simon and Samir!
We also wanted to work on the UI, so the contacts app is now tidier, and whenever someone’s in the mood to talk, you’ll see a little chat bubble floating above them. If they have a quest for you, that still comes first, of course!
More friendly faces are already lining up for future patches, so keep a lookout for more characters getting added to the friendship system!
💬 Chatting with Residents
In our last major update, we introduced the residents. This time, you can see what thoughts they have to share!
Their animation behaviour has been tuned to feel more grounded and dynamic during conversations and interactions.
Take a walk through the neighbourhood and see what you’ll catch them saying, simply walk up and interact to talk to them.
☂️ Umbrellas
We’re excited to introduce a new addition to your toolkit: Umbrellas!
You can now pick them up in multiple tiers at LetsGo Market, Berrys, and Banana21. They’ll keep you dry when the sky decides to open up, and help you stay cool when the heat turns up.
Browse the designs and tell us which one earns a spot in your inventory.
🏛️ Item Stands
Introducing the latest additions to your home setup, the Display Cases and Pedestals!
If you’ve got an item you’re proud of, now you can give it a proper spotlight. Choose between a universal stand or dedicated displays for Coins and Leaves. You can go big with floor models or keep things subtle with smaller versions that fit neatly on shelves and tables.
🌦️ Weather stations
We’re rolling out a new world feature to help your littles handle extreme weather: Weather Stations!
Available only in the most modern cities, these stations allow you to adjust your Little's temperature and wetness for a small fee whenever the climate gets too intense.
A quick stop can make all the difference out there.
❄️ New Winter-Themed Items
To celebrate the upcoming holidays, we’re releasing a special collection of winter clothes and items for everyone.
You can pick them up in stores and bring a bit of seasonal spirit into your world. Enjoy the festivities in style~
✨ New Animation added to the Wardrobe Menu
And for our final addition, the wardrobe preview is getting a fresh boost with new character animations.
Your little will now react to the outfits you try on them, giving the preview a bit more personality and life.

In Multiplayer, Umbrellas don't automatically open/close.
In Multiplayer, if a Host is holding an umbrella while other players join, the latter won't be able to see it until the Host rotates.
In Multiplayer, if a Player performs an interaction while holding an Umbrella there's a chance it will disappear for other players.
Some localisation entries are not localised in Chinese, Portuguese, Russian. We are working on getting these up to date.
