Hi there!
After some silence from my side, I've come back with an interesting update - I give you PIPES.
With pipes you can automate resources transport, that was previously done by your crew.
Find quick guide into the pipe system below
Changelog:
- Pipes system - automatically transport resources [Early version]
- Control device input/output - decide if it's to be done via crew, pipes, or both
- Handle exception when dropping resources
- Resolve pathfinding bug caused by floating-point arithmetics error
- Fix bug in device panel caused by buttons not showing on time
Close future:
- Resource filters to pipes & devices
- Ability to take resources out of pipes
- Improved UX of pipes configuration
- Introduction of technology related to pipes
Quick guide into pipes configuration:
1. Lay down the pipes
2. Connect them by entering pipe overlay (button on the bottom right, or while building pipes) and clicking the side of a pipe a new connection should appear.
3. Enable device output to pipes
4. Enable device input from pipes
5. Watch them get transported
