The alpha demo for the Break-In has now ended, after 10 days of stealing, sneaking, and burglar-ing. Thank you to the over 5,000 people who participated in the demo, I've very much enjoyed seeing the screenshots and gameplay clips coming in over the past week or so.
Here are some of my favourite screenshots, if you have some more, do share them on the steam page, or on the discord server, or subreddit.
Hot-tub party on the roof, by prolific burglary squad Gingerston, PorkysRAGE, No_Warudo, and Eh I'll Buff Out. A very impressive steal, and the only recorded burglary of the hot-tub during this demo.
A cosy living room setup in the van, put together by DoctorSokka. Always nice to see people making a van a home!
A celebratory group photo from JSoulCBC and crew, after fitting an entire car in their van. This one reminds me that the true burglary is the friendship we steal from eachother along the way.
From Blub, a bear statue standing proud atop the van, ready to be taken to its new home and sold for a quick profit. Inspiring.
A quick guide on how to steal a car, by Sir Lags a Lot. Note the finesse required to pull of this tricky manoeuvre.
The art of the Piston-Hammer, modelled by PorkysRAGE and captured by Eh I'll Buff Out. The pose on this one is great, truly a master of the piston-hammer arts.
There will definitely be more public alphas coming in the near future, so be sure to wishlist and follow the game so you can get in! If you'd like to get extra early news on future tests, join the official discord server!
