Hello everyone!
It's a huge week for everyone here - as we are 24 HOURS away from launch!
We've got some exciting things to share with you in this update - but before we get to it we also have a little bit of housekeeping.
Update your Game!
As mentioned yesterday we've been tracking frequently mentioned bugs and issues across your demo playtime. We have just pushed an update out that should fix all the serious offenders such as :
- HDR issues and blackscreens
- Crashing
- Video issues during playback scenes
- Many other smaller issues.
For those of you still rocking through the clerical lifestyle in our demo before launch, please make sure your build is fully updated for the smoothest experience, and once again thank you all for your reports.
On launch day we will have an FAQ available listing any ongoing and reported bugs, as well as any workarounds or solutions for folks to check before submitting anything new. We'll link to it on our launch day blog so eyes peeled!
WHEN CAN I PLAY?!
KARMA will be launching on March 27th at Mid-day GMT on Steam, and at midnight local time for those playing on PlayStation 5. We have this handy Leviathan approved global time map for you to see exactly when you'll be able to enrol as a ROAM agent this Thursday.
SPay Less
As the final piece of news in todays blog, we are pleased to announce that for two weeks starting on launch all PC Players will receive a 10% discount on KARMA, also applied to those on PlayStation with PsPlus. We also can announce our launch day bundle offerings. These come in 3 flavours, and the links will be live for you to view on launch day (we'll share them again don't worry) :
1- The Deluxe Edition Bundle - All the KARMA content you could ever need, and then some.
- It includes the game
- The 138 page artbook (which is STUNNING)
- The 58 song soundtrack
- AND the 5 song EP featuring songs used during our EPIC trailer announcements.
2 - The Wired Family Discount Bundles - as a thank you to all of our fans, if you own ANY of the Wired Productions library on Steam, you will be able to purchase a bundle with Karma included to 'complete the set' and save 15% on top of the 10% launch discount! Pretty good right?
This counts for ANY of our games, so check your library to see if you've already played any of our indie classics (Or heck, pick up Bulwark right now for the cost of a meal deal and get a fantastic City builder as well as your discount!)
If you're unsure, have a look at our Steam publisher page and check our range of games : CLICK HERE TO SEE ALL OUR GAMES!
3 - Finally, we are partnering up with two of our other Indie Publishing friends to celebrate both the love of indie gaming, and the disturbing worlds and tales that can be created within.
On launch day, you'll be able to pick up bundles of :
- KARMA and INDIKA
- KARMA and Still Wakes The Deep.
Unfamiliar with them? Here's a quick run down :
INDIKA is a third-person, story-driven game set in alternative Russia at the turn of the XIX century where religious visions clash with harsh reality. INDIKA tells the story of a young nun who sets off on a journey of self-discovery with the most unusual companion by her side, the devil himself - one for fans of games that break traditional conventions with mechanics and presentation interwoven expertly to tell a story.
Still Wakes The Deep places you in 1975 where disaster strikes the Beira D oil rig off the coast of Scotland. Navigate the collapsing rig to save your crew from an otherworldly horror on the edge of all logic and reality - one for fans of fantastic voice acting, supernatural horror, and anyone who fancies themselves handy with the leccy.
Right, that about wraps it up for today! However you decide to play KARMA, and whichever way you decide to pick it up - we thank you, and can't wait to hear your thoughts once the credits roll.
We'll speak again soon, and remember. The gates to Utopia are open to those who serve
