Hey there, Animaze Community!
We’re happy to announce we are kicking off our .VRM import Closed Beta Testing! If you have signed up for it, you should receive the required information via email soon!
We have also prepared lots of feature changes that will improve the quality of your Animaze experience.
Here they are:
- Support For Live2D 2.0 Input Naming Standard: for example, ParamAngleX can be used as PARAM_ANGLE_X
- Customized Naming Option for Avatars and Personas: personalize your avatars and personas with the name you want
- Search Bar for Avatars, Backgrounds and Props Galleries: just type in the name of what you want to use and it will magically appear
- New Import Tabs in Backgrounds and Avatar Galleries: tell your imports apart easier with this new tab
- New functionalities available in the account screen: you can now use Copy, Paste commands and switch the field text with the Tab key
- Close webcam preview function: you can now completely get rid of the camera feed from your Animaze window. (To reopen it, you will just need go to Animaze Menu -> Settings -> Video -> Toggle on/off for webcam feed)
We’ve also tackled and solved the following bug fixes:
- Audio fixes (broadcasts, devices, etc.)
- Fixed Complex audio based lip sync for Personas
- Fixed tracking sliders from Tracking Configuration
Take into consideration that the following features are still under development and have some limitations:
- Closed .VRM beta: The .VRM models cannot benefit from auto blink, customizations or props just yet
- Selecting a closed virtual webcam app or closing the webcam feed and moving out of frame will cause an infinite calibration
- Complex audio based lip sync is a bit finicky. If you encounter any troubles picking up your voice, try moving the sliders to the left.
- Our cute little animation that plays while you use the iPhone bridge is on Holiday, but will return soon
Let us know what you think about all the new features, and tell us what you’d like to see added to Animaze next! Join our Discord server, email us at support[@]animaze.us or message us on Twitter!
Happy Streaming,
The Holotech Team
