In the suffocating quiet of an empty room, a lawyer sits alone, surrounded by stacks of documents that refuse to make sense. He cross-examines shadows, builds his case against an unseen opponent, and clings to logic as it slips through his fingers like sand. Every new piece of evidence feels like salvation—until it doesn't. The walls listen. The screen watches. And something on the other side... is trying to help. Or is it?
Hey everyone,
Update 0.65 is now live.

Changelog:
Codex System A new, subtle presence has been added. After finishing a playthrough (starting from New Game), the next time you launch Isolation Simulator, you'll receive a single, one-time message from the Codex. It pulls randomly from a hidden database—sometimes a quiet suggestion of what to try next, sometimes a fragment of deeper lore. It speaks as if something aware is reaching out, trying to communicate directly with you, the person sitting in front of the monitor.
Collection Menu Fully functional now. All discovered recordings, items, and events can be revisited at any time.
Meditation Achievement Fixed the triggering issue. It now unlocks properly.
Testing Console Developer console added (accessible via cheat commands). For the curious—or the desperate. (Use at your own risk—may affect saves!) In the limited free moments I had, I spent a lot of time using this console to extensively test various event combinations, hunting down bugs and edge-case errors to make the simulation more stable.
BlackStripes Event A new visual anomaly: horizontal black bands occasionally sweep across the screen, like degraded film stock from ancient cinema reels. The simulation flickers... as if it's aging. Or remembering.
Yellow Emperor Ending Path fully restored and accessible. A new function has been added that exposes more of the simulation's underlying structure. (No further details—find it yourself.)
Upcoming (Next Few Months):
Expanded Codex: Smarter rotation to avoid repeating the same messages too often, plus several new entries expanding beyond the current 36 whispers.
Subtitles: English rollout first, built on a flexible infrastructure ready to echo whispers in more languages.
Shadows Fixes: Correcting elusive glitches in select areas, ensuring darkness behaves as it should... or shouldn't.
SFX Additions: Layering in missing sounds where silence screams loudest, amplifying the isolation's grip.
Behavior Monitoring Tweaks: Algorithm refinements driven by your play data—making the simulation watch you more closely.
More Basic Events: Expanding the foundational encounters, for runs that never feel the same.
Final Branch Development: Slowly shifting from polishing the existing core to building the game's climactic arc: Kyle's Redemption.
(Priorities guided by community feedback—share your wishlist below!)
Quick Call to Action: Fire up a quick playthrough, grab your first Codex message, and drop it in the comments below! What did "it" whisper to you? Also, if you spot any glitches (especially with the console), report them—your eyes help keep the simulation airtight.
Dev Note
Real-life isolation hit a bit harder than expected. Development pace slowed in the second half of November and through December due to ongoing legal issues related to my wife's former employer (the case is now in court and awaiting resolution), as well as the natural slowdown from the holiday season and Christmas break. I'm doing fine, healthy, and ready to push forward. With the new year starting, I should have significantly more time to dedicate to the game again.
The planned exit from Early Access remains unchanged—no delays.
Thank you for sticking with the project, for your reports, and for the strange, haunting stories you share from your own sessions. They matter.
See you in the room,
