The Deckalypse Playtest is open.
We're letting players into Deckalypse for the first time, and you can put your name in.
Deckalypse is a turn-based deckbuilder roguelike where you command a party of four, not a single hero. Tank, DPS, Ranged, and Support, each with their own deck, all sharing one energy pool that grows the deeper you push. Combat is positional, decks are scavenged, and a permanent Base turns every run into progress.
How to join
- Head to the Deckalypse store page.
- Scroll to the Join the Deckalypse Playtest section and click Request Access.
- You'll be notified through Steam when your access is granted.
We're approving testers in waves rather than letting everyone in at once. This keeps the experience tight for the first players and lets us roll out access in a sustainable way. If you don't get in on the first wave, you stay in the queue for the next one.
What to expect
The Playtest puts the core of Deckalypse in your hands: the four-hero party, the shared energy pool, positional combat across multiple regions (in this playtest only one region is available), and the early layers of the permanent Base. Expect to lose runs, learn the rhythm, and find favorite cards. Expect a few rough edges. Expect updates over time as the Playtest grows.
If you run into anything that breaks the run or feels off, drop a note in the discussions on the Steam page. Every report helps shape what Deckalypse becomes.
One last thing
Thank you to everyone who has wishlisted, followed, and stuck around since the page went live. You're the reason this Playtest is happening at all. Whether you're in the first wave or a later one, you're part of it.
