Nienix has finally reached 1.0!
I had originally planned for 8-12 months of early access, but it ended up lasting ~14 months. This was the case as I got so many great ideas from you guys that the originally intended features were flexed quite a bit. I am very happy it did, and very grateful for all your help - Nienix 1.0 would have been way less fun without it!
Brief summary of the year in EA:
- On average, a player spent 20 hours in-game - 1 out of 10 played more than 100 hours.
- More than 5000 player feature requests were received (and most were implemented). An example fan-favorite is the worm-type ship.
- More than a hundred patches were deployed.
To put it mildly, a lot happened during EA!
On another note - I am far from done developing the game. You can expect alot of new content over the coming years!
