Greetings fellow handymen!
I've got some spooktacular news for you today. This is probably H4S' biggest update yet! We are so close to 1.0 launch!
This update brings a much requested feature: proximity voice chat! It's been a long time coming but it's finally here. And much more. I hope you all enjoy what's new in beta 1.6.
So without further delay, here's what's new in update b1.6:
-
What's New?
- Proximity Voice Chat! You can scream, but will anyone be near enough to hear you?
- New Horrifying Enemy! Can you handle the slasher? May spawn instead of the regular ghost.
- Glowsticks! Drop them to help you find your way around. Use them wisely, you don't have many.
- Stickers! Find rare sticker capsules scattered in some levels, collect them all!
- Secret Attic! That's right, there's an attic in the attic. What's Better?
- Huge performance improvements.
- Revamped ghost sound effects.
- Shop model spin can now be stopped by clicking on it.
- Player selected for the PvP ghost is now announced.
- Improved the control scheme menu.
- Changed how endless mode leaderboards are updated. Updates after each floor only for living players.
- Added new paintings.
- Text chat is now available in the end screen. What's Fixed?
- Fixed rendering issue with player models and flashlights.
- Fixed room variations always spawning in the same pattern.
- Fixed buggy flashlight physics in the elevator.
- Fixed issue where decorations would not appear in the attic.
- Additional minor fixes and improvements.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your patience with the game, I know updates have been slow. And I'd also like to ask, if you haven't already, to give the game your honest review. Seeing what people think of the game is what helps me the most when it comes to improving it, and it'd appreciate it a lot!
Nothing in the game is final, so if you have any suggestions please don't be afraid to get in touch with me via the discord: https://discord.gg/fJWwnSS
I'd love to hear your ideas, know if you experience any bugs or know if there are things you don't quite like.
As always:
Enjoy, have fun, have a great spooktober and thanks for playing!
Ben.
