Today we would like to talk to you about the resources in The Unexpected Quest.
Resources are an important part of every management game, and the Unexpected Quest is no exception.
Now let’s go together through what resources are available, how to acquire them, and what their use is.
Wood
Wood will be the resource you will use in order to build new buildings, like houses, mills or sawmills. Fundamental to every construction, you can acquire it if you’ve built a sawmill, or by removing wooden debris if you acquire the right item!
Food
Food is a resource that you will need for most of your actions. Removing debris, building some buildings, and most importantly, getting more workers or soldiers, it all needs food. In order to get food, make sure to build a mill, since that will be your main source of food until later in the game.
Gold
Gold is the most important resource you will need if you want to upgrade your settlement. Used to recruit and upgrade units, as well as get stronger tools and weapons for your people. Without gold you won’t be able to prosper. You can get gold by completing quests, removing debris (with the right item equipped), or by selling food or wood at the market!
Population
The population represent the amount of playable unit you control, be it civilian or armed units.
Make sure to build enough houses so you can recruit new units at the town hall or the barracks!
