Greetings, associate!
While the dev team is busy updating Revival’s game mechanics, all for the purpose of bringing you a great strategy experience, let us talk about one of the most important aspects of a game's atmosphere - its soundtrack.
Music has a huge influence on how you experience a game. When you're immersed in gameplay, you might not even notice it - but your brain certainly does. The right piece of music can help immersion and heighten your experience, making it richer and more vivid.
Revival’s title theme (which you can listen to via the link above) mixes a classical orchestral style with modern ambient sounds. This combination was no accident. Light electronic beats evoke complex futuristic computers and the emptiness of space, only to give way to an expressive orchestral theme that fills the empty space with volume and power. As soon as you see and hear Revival’s main menu, you already know that the task presented by the game is an important one: a quest to reclaim Earth, by all means necessary.
We’ve decided that every emissary, epoch and tribe should have its own musical theme. From founding a city to developing your empire, the music will change in form and complexity to reflect the events that occur under your leadership. The game’s soundtrack will also take you and your people on a musical journey through four distinct time periods, from traditional folk sounds to more modern melodies.
Respectfully,
Revival: Recolonization Team
