A random Sunday Rivals update in 2025? Yes my friends it's true, I have a nice little quality of life update for you completely out of nowhere and am happy to announce that schedules are now completely randomized at the start of every season! Why'd that take so long? Good question... the important thing is that it's in the game now so let's just pretend it's always been there, ok?
Along with the new schedules, I've made some tiny tweaks based on community feedback, namely getting more outcome variety from AI kickers but also a tiny boost to defense. For kickers you should see more returnable kickoffs from the AI and (hopefully) some missed field goals!
On the defensive side, I increased the chances of fumbles (especially in the rain) and tipped passes happening, just to keep things spicy out there. Remember, use your sliders if you feel like it's too much (or not enough!)
I hope you enjoy this update, I want to thank yall for making Sunday Rivals a success and I truly hope you've enjoyed playing it as much as I did making it. And who knows, maybe in another 2 years I'll update it again out of the blue.
Speaking of the future, please check out my next game Killer Aces Volleyball and give it a wishlist:
With the community's support, I can continue to make awesome sports games and build foundational technology that will be shared in all my future titles (franchise mode, deeper customization, etc)
Full patch notes below and as always, thanks for playing!
