Hello friends! It's David from Brave Lunch with another great update to Blobkin. Let's get right to it:
- Added the Eel Boss! This fearsome menace can be encountered after the Oil Rig map, lurking deep below the depths in that mysterious hole in front of you. He'll require excellent aiming and dodging skills to survive.
- Polished off Red Tide mode, adding more enemies, waves, and power ups.
- Optimized all the map's shadow maps, ideally reducing a lot of processing overhead for GPUs.
- Fixed a bug where you could get stuck with just one enemy at a time attacking you, not a school/swarm.
- Fixed a bug where toxic guys were double counting your score and enemies killed.
- Reduced flashing of various particle fx that was giving players a headache; In particular the yellow effects.
The Eel was a big bad we are really excited about showing to the world. I can't wait for you to try him! As always, leave feedback and comments below. Happy hunting :)
